Catie Campbell (Board President)
Catie Campbell is the Board President of Das GreenHaus. Since joining the board in 2023, and as board president in January 2024, Catie remains committed to the founding principles of Das GreenHaus, to not only support community business innovation but also invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs. As a long-time early stage startup advisor in urban communities to joining similar efforts in the Texas Hill Country, she’s inspired to help elevate entrepreneurship education and support. This comes from overseeing diligence for the Boerne Kendall County Angel Network (BKCAN, now a program of Das GreenHaus) to the Boerne ISD Incubator.edu program to facilitate high school students’ direct access to mentorship, funding, and real-world startup experience.
A C-suite advisor, certified executive coach, and keynote speaker, Catie brings over 20 years of leadership and organizational psychology expertise. Her career began at the Pentagon and has since spanned industries from media and sports to construction, finance and defense, advising over 25,000 leaders globally. Known for her no-nonsense, high-impact approach, she blends strategic rigor with deep empathy. Whether she’s mentoring a founder, coaching a CEO, or helping a student launch their first business, Catie is driven by one goal: to create communities where leadership and innovation can thrive. She also serves on the board of the Comfort Area Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers with Stand Beside Them, a nonprofit that provides pro bono coaching services to military members and veterans.
Robert Johnson, MD, MPH, MBA
Dr. Johnson is a Management Consultant and an Angel Investor. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Medical Surveillance and Monthly Report, a peer-reviewed monthly medical journal published by the Defense Health Agency. Prior to this, he held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Corporate Medical Director, Senior Medical Director of Medical Quality, and Medical Director for Clinical Innovations for Humana Government Business in San Antonio, Texas. He has held these positions since joining Humana Government Business in September 2013.
He retains an academic position as Clinical Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Medicine and continues in active teaching of medical residents. Prior to joining Humana, Dr. Johnson held positions as the Deputy Director of the FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was full-time faculty at UTMB, where he served as Program Director of the General Preventive Medicine Residency, Associate Director of the UTMB/NASA-Johnson Space Center Aerospace Medicine Residency Program, and Course Director of the Introduction to Aerospace Medicine Residency short course.
Dr. Johnson retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2005 with the rank of Colonel and a Chief Flight Surgeon Aeronautical rating. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, Bob held multiple positions, including General Preventive Medicine Residency Director at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Director of the DoD Global Medicine Course, and Chief Information Officer. He was also a member of the Board of Directors for Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, in addition to numerous international deployments.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine, a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association, the Past President of the American Society of Aerospace Medical Specialists, and a recent Regent on the Board of the American College of Preventive Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Johnson has been closely involved with medical management, population health management, global health, medical quality improvement, clinical preventive services, and graduate medical education.
Dr. Johnson received a Medical Doctorate from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health with Distinction from Yale University School of Medicine, and a Master of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is currently board-certified by The American Board of Preventive Medicine in Preventive Medicine and Public Health, as well as in Aerospace Medicine. He is also certified in Medical Quality by the American Board of Medical Quality.
Amy Story
Amy has been with the BKCEDC since September 2016. Amy began at the BKCEDC focused on marketing, communication and special projects for the BKCEDC, as well as website management. Over the past few years, Amy’s role in the organization has increased, as has her impact on project procurement, Member relations, marketing and operations.
Amy stepped into the role as President/CEO in the fall of 2019 and will lead the BKCEDC in its mission to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse economic future for Kendall County.
Amy comes to the BKCEDC with a background in finance, marketing & law. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, as well as a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin.
Amy has been active in the Kendall County community in a variety of capacities, with a particular emphasis on volunteer roles within Boerne I.S.D., the Boerne Education Foundation, as well as serving on the Board of Das GreenHaus.
Sam Riehn
Sam Riehn is a United States Air Force veteran and the CEO of SBIR Advisors Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to supporting technology startups. Under his leadership, the firm has helped clients secure over $500 million in contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense.
