“Investing in… yourself, your family, your community.” -Boerne Lifestyle April 2024
April 2024: All About Investment
We could not have chosen a better month or a more fitting theme to be featured in Boerne Lifestyle magazine. Investment, the theme of the magazine’s April issue, is not only at the heart of what we do here at Das Greenhaus, but it is also what inspired the creation of our organization and it is what our entire mission is built around.
At Das Greenhaus, we aim to bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders, industry experts, and community members – with the purpose of investing time, energy, resources, support, and education into the growing businesses that will eventually benefit future generations in Kendall County. To us, successful investment means a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that is grown right here, at home – in Boerne, Texas.
Being featured in the April issue of Boerne Lifestyle brought about a unique and valued opportunity. While we have had several opportunities in the recent months to share our origin story – how Das Greenhaus came to be and the challenges faced in bringing the startup to life – we have not had as many opportunities (until now) to share widely about what exactly we are doing and our visions for the future of the organization.
“Growing the Future of Boerne”
In the Das Greenhaus Boerne Lifestyle article, appropriately titled, Growing the Future of Boerne, the goal was to take the story one step further; to move past the origin story and really delve into what we are doing today, the impact we are making, how we are supporting local businesses and founders, and the benefits to being a part of our community. We even explore our visions for what a future, well established organization looks like. Not only did the article allow us to share a complete and comprehensive story of our current work, it also allowed us to do so in our own words; an opportunity rarely given to many organizations. This meant having many conversations around how to best share our impact, what we do, and where we are going. The experience was beneficial on so many levels and we are eager to hear the community’s feedback.
The five-page spread is an accomplishment we are extremely proud of. And what’s more – it has been a truly rewarding experience to see the excitement of those around us as they read and share our story. Copies of the magazine were flying out of our office and have required multiple restocks. What a celebration, to be in a community where individuals take the time to invest in one another, celebrate their successes, and join in their missions to do better.
We encourage you to read the article, share your feedback with us, and get involved.
